How does weightlifting affect the body's propensity to bleed or to form clots?|||With lifting, you can get low level damage/tears to muscle tissue. As the body repairs the damage, the muscle gets bigger %26amp; stronger. (which is why most people lift)
When that happens, there is also bleeding from small blood vessels. On coumadin, any bleeding takes a LONG time to stop.
