How long do you burn fat after weightlifting?

Ive heard that while doing cardio, you only burn fat while doing cardio, but weightlifting you still burn fat after your done, how long do you burn fat for? Im skinny, VERY low body fat, if that makes a difference|||According to sportsmedicine.com, your resting metabolism rate will be higher for up to a few hours after lifting weights if you train hard.
