Will I get better results weightlifting everyday or every other day?

I am weightlifting everyday except weekends, i've been doing this for about four months and am seeing good results but I always hear people say I shouldn't work out everyday but every other day instead. Is this true? Will I get the same results only weightlifting every other day?

Thank you.|||You can workout everyday if you use a split.

There is a fine line between over training and not giving your muscles a chance to recover or grow. Or under training and not growing as fast as you could.

If you want to workout everyday which you do keep the volume low and split up your body parts so they always get at least 1 days recovery.

Don't follow J Cutlers workout programme just yet!|||weightlift everyday, but target specific muscle groups every other day. for example, you can do chest and arms monday, wednesday, friday and sunday, and do neck, back and shoulders tuesday, thursday and saturday. also, do cardio and abs/core EVERYDAY.|||yeah, give the muscles you are training a day to rest, but training everyday isn't bad if your training different areas of your body eg, monday - legs then tuesday - arms ect ect..|||Give your muscles at least a day or two to relax. You don't want to tear them.|||every other day allows muscles to rest + better develop
