How does weightlifting make your muscles bigger?
I mean like how does it work. I started weightlifting last year, and I was just wondering how does it work? I know it has something to do with tearing muscle fibers or something.|||exactly that lifting weights tears the fibres and they grown back stronger providing you are eating a good diet and enough calories, this is why its important to step the weight up gradually and then your muscles get bigger and bigger each time.|||The muscle fibers tear and then the body creates more to repair the tear making the muscles bigger. Thats why muscles hurt after exercise.|||it just make them bigger, if you do it for a long time you will see difference
